A shortcut to change a group of words to initial caps.

It would be ideal to be able to only have the audio for our split in a huge audio job because WS lags TERRIBLY in massive audio jobs. I have 89 mins in a 437 min job. I was able to remove the part of the transcript I'm not responsible for, but not the audio. Now I have to wait after EVERY change I make for WS to catch up to me. It's taking me at least twice as long to complete the job as it should. I'd rather do this in Word than wait this long. Plus WS will freeze at least 2 or 3 times during the long sessions and I'll have to go out and back in.

An easy way to change page numbers

We need to be able to highlight Q&A like we can in Word. It is so much easier to check work with this feature.

If you could add a "right click" option to "Search Google" after highlighting a word, it would be helpful. Thank you.

We should be able to edit the headers and footers like we're able to in Word.

It's nice that we can now put the time in for them. But having to scroll through the time instead of us typing it in takes up a ridiculous amount of time.

This would be very helpful so we don't have to then do it in Word after we finish the Webscribe portion

We need to be able to add/edit the pleading numbers -- sometimes the template has them off by just a smidge and we can't fix it in Webscribe - I have to finalize the document, and then fix it in Word. Time consuming and cumbersome.

For batches of short hearings on the same case, it would be much more efficient to be able to copy over the cover page from the previous job and be able to change only the data that is different (date, time -- sometimes attorneys or judges)

Need an additional tab to the replace/replace all. Word has a "find next", which worked quite well. For example, when replacing the word "exhibit". Sometimes it needs to remain in lower case, and sometimes in upper case.

Need an actual spell check, not a long list of terms and abbreviations and you can't see the screen to make any edits.

We need to be able to enter times directly. No scrolling. Very cumbersome.

We need to be able to key in dates directly. This scrolling and clicking through is cumbersome and time consuming.

I have a webscribe job where I am proofing multiple audios done by different transcribers. When I want to open the log notes for a particular audio, I have to read these difficult names to match the audios to the corresponding log file. It would be convenient if there was at least an "audio1, audio2, etc." on the ends of the file names for this kind of situation.

Please make a Dark Mode version.

We need to be able to do a replace and remove paragraphs. Too time consuming deleting the empty paragraphs when scoping.

Is it possible to switch this off for individual users? I find it cumbersome to take my hands off my keyboard to scroll for a date and time when I can just type it in.

The spelling and grammar checks are too broad for our purposes. We are supposed to type what we hear and not what is (technically) grammatically correct. When working in Word I had the ability to uncheck most of the boxes for grammar.
Please can the grammar check be more focused?

After saving information into the document, it would be nice if the window would close like it does in Word. This just adds one additional click every time something is saved.

The automatic capping of words after IDs when we have interruptions should be removed.

Centering could be added to the Formatting options, along with underlining, bold, etc.

Index bookmarks need to be able to be updated. If printing the index adds pages to the transcript, the page that prints out is incorrect and needs to be updated manually. Kind of defeats the purpose of bookmarks.

Autocorrect should be case sensitive. Eg. I had "THat" changed to "That", but it changed every lowercase "that" to uppercase.

When scoping, I start fresh with no paragraphs or speaker tokens as the script is more often wrong than right. This allows an easy, smooth transition while listening. To do that, I run a macro in Word that removes all paragraphs followed by S1: ,etc. Webscribe is not allowing me to remove the paragraphs. Nor is it allowing me to create/run my macro to do so.
