Date and time scrolling

Is it possible to switch this off for individual users? I find it cumbersome to take my hands off my keyboard to scroll for a date and time when I can just type it in.

I don't mind it for the case data form, but I absolutely do not like it on the indiscernible/comment. Especially when the only thing Webscribe offers is elapsed time and the options are real time, it just doesn't make sense to me.
